Location: Pueblo, CO

Rate: $15.45/HR

Available Schedule: Thursday-Sunday: 2PM - 10PM

What Your Day May Look Like:

• Greet client, client employee’s, vendors, site visitors and aid as needed. 
• Conduct internal patrol and/or external foot patrol when needed to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, blocked ingress and egress, mechanical problems, unauthorized persons, inspects grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear. 
• Monitor entrance/exits and provide guidance to site visitors, or vendors. 
• Complete daily activity (DAR), incident reports and logs via Securitas and client systems. 
• Provide an atmosphere in which all site visitors, client employees, client, and Management know their needs are being met. 
• Present a good image to client, public, and Management. 
• Operates in a calm manner and directs persons who cause disruption, or is not permitted on site to leave property. 
• Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations; sets up barriers and signage, and provides direction or information to others. 
• Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to client, Company Management, or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site. 
• Acts to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements and in accord with client standards. 
• Carries out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site. 
  Report alarms in accordance with client requirements, and monitor cameras.

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older. 
• High School Diploma or GED Required. 
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift. 
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift. 
• Valid Colorado Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• Must have a reliable vehicle to maintain attendance.
• Must be able to obtain required Pueblo Guard Card License and maintain it every year. 
• Understands the nature of customer service and interactions with the public. 
• Must have Swing shift availability and the ability to provide additional coverage as needed. 
• Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic. 
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus. 
• Must be able to interact with and greet site visitors, customers, client, or client employees in a positive manner, while maintaining excellent customer service. 
• Intermediate computer/technology skills needed to ensure completion of daily activity reports, and logs via handheld devices, and ability to report alarms via telephone. 
• Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist vendors, public, residents, client, Site Supervisors, and Office Management. 
• Must be open to communication and feedback from client, Site Supervisor and Office Management. 
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation and force if required. 
• Must be able to work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily. 
• Must be able to remain organized and professional. 
• Must be able to learn and adhere to security operations. 
• Must provide high quality customer service in-person, via radio, and over the telephone. 
• Must have ability to work multiple sites between Fountain, Colorado Springs, and Falcon to in the event of site transfer. 
• Must be able to attend in-person interview and in-person orientation if hired in Colorado Springs. 
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience a plus!
