Position Overview:

We are looking for a high energy individual to fill a Driver / Warehouse Operator position at our Chandler facility. The ideal candidate will have driving and delivery service experience, preferably working at a warehouse. The Driver is responsible for picking up and delivering supplies that Perfection Industrial Finishing (PIF) needs to run the business.

While not on the road, additional duties include helping customers with the drop off and pick up of their parts. Responsibilities also include receiving and storing purchased materials, stock room maintenance, and the cleaning and staging of jobs work for the production areas.

The ideal candidate must be flexible, adaptable, and a team player who takes pride in their work.

Shift Requirements

• Must be able to work 6am-2:30pm M-F
• Must be able to work hours beyond schedule.

Job Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform daily safety vehicle inspections, ensure vehicle is safe and road ready.
• Assist with preventative vehicle maintenance.
• Assist with Warehouse duties as required.

Driver Responsibilities

• Safely loads materials to optimize truck utilization.
• Drive materials to customer locations and between Phoenix and Tucson.
• Identify and determine the most time-effective routing to customer locations based on traffic conditions and mileage.
• Completes Maintenance Request Form for any vehicle that needs repair or maintenance.
• Return delivery paperwork at the close of each day, including interoffice paperwork as requested.

Warehouse Responsibilities

• Help loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
• Pick-up materials at customer locations.
• Pick-up material and supplies for PIF.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with customers.
• Obtain customer signature and collect payment for goods delivered.
• Count parts and mark with job order number and customer name.
• Inspect incoming parts for any damage.
• Verify count and that the correct item was shipped.
• Monitor the inventory for expired materials.
• Clean and organize stockroom, arranging materials based on expiration dates and contact Quality if materials have expired.
• Clean and organize during the day and at the end of every shift.

Preferred qualifications:

• 18 years or older
