Platinum Dental is seeking a dedicated Traveling Periodontal Dental Assistant to join our exceptional team! Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients to the dental office.
  • Prepare patients for treatments.
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed.
  • Sterilize instruments according to regulations.
  • Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry.
  • Undertake lab tasks as instructed.
  • Provide post-operative care instructions.
  • Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked.
  • Schedule appointments.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a dental assistant in Periodontics.
  • Travel Skills: Ability to travel with the Periodontist to multiple locations.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
  • Regulatory Understanding: Understanding of health & safety regulations.
  • Computer Skills: Good computer skills.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and organization.
  • Reliability: Well-organized and reliable.
  • Certification: X-ray certified.
