Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain a running log of all Store Concerns associated with customer and WCD(WCDL).
· Understanding of where the errors (Kaizen opportunities) within the operation in which affects the customer.
· Must analyze a vast amount of data, such as suppliers’ production schedules and production reconciliation reports.
· Review underperforming areas in the Operations, which may be due to missed delivery times and routes, warehouse space constrictions, weather patterns, stocking program limitations, etc.
· The C.T.S will utilize existing or develop new technological tools, such as relational database management systems, to analyze information in a faster and more efficient manner.
· Having an in-depth understanding of the process flow and business problems that are causing concern, the C.T.S must be able to suggest improvements to cut costs and improve the entire process.
· During a weekly and monthly Operations Planning (B&OP) planning process/meetings, this individual will meet with Logistics, Warehouse and Inventory Control leaders to make recommendations based on careful research and predictions.
· The C.T.S must collaborate with many colleagues from various departments – Logistics, WHSE Operations, TJ’s Ops, and project management teams. In addition, these individuals must be able to communicate with vendors in order
to address problems, assist the TJ’s Ops team to negotiate better deals and form relationships.
· Communication with Customer
· Cross reference reports received from TJ’s in portal
· Follow up with DCM’s in any operational impacts.
· Discrepancy Monitoring Report, review, compile and publish every Tuesday Nationwide by Mind-Day
· Service Level Report, review, compile and publish every Tuesday Nationwide by Mind-Day
· Pallet Impact Report (WMP), review, pre-publish to DCM’s Monday, have weekly meeting with DCM’s to approve or adjust once correct compile and publish every Tuesday Nationwide by Mind-Day
· DC Pallet Count Report, run GOLD system for each DC, compile Nationwide numbers, and publish weekly to all DC’s
· Tracking any weather events in which may impact Operations, Transportation and deliveries to the customer.
