Assembler

Aerotek is hiring Assemblers for an Industrial facility in Batesville, MS. These positions are 1st shift (6am-2:30pm + overtime during the week and Saturdays as needed). 6 month contract to hire opportunity paying $18/hr depending on experience. Please apply for immediate consideration.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in a work environment with hand and power tools, whether professional or through hobby/volunteer opportunities.
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble aluminum skins using mechanical fasteners with impact and hand tools.
• Install refrigerator type doors and hardware on enclosures.
• Install exhaust systems to finished enclosures using impact and torque wrenches.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools, impact and torque wrenches.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Mechanical assembly experience.
• Capability to use tape measures and compute basic math.
