Job Description
We are currently seeking a professional and dependable Customer Service Representative who is also open to being trained in inside sales, including quoting and estimating freight shipping costs. This position plays a critical role in supporting customers, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring smooth logistics and shipping operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide accurate quotes and shipping estimates to new and existing clients
Onboard new clients, offering clear guidance on the freight shipping, receiving, and delivery process
Serve as the main point of contact for customers with shipping-related questions or concerns
Coordinate with warehouse personnel to review and route shipments effectively
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of customer service experience (freight forwarding experience preferred)
Prior experience in sales is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
High attention to detail and follow-through
Work Environment:
Office and warehouse setting. This position requires the ability to collaborate closely with both administrative and operational teams.
