Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based Speech-Language Professional opportunity is available in Milledgeville, GA, supporting PreK through 12th grade students across multiple school sites. This role is designed for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) holding valid Georgia state licensure, offering both full-time hybrid and in-person work environments.
Position Details:
- Full-time commitment: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Academic Year Contract: July 24, 2025 May 23, 2026
- Service range: PreK-12th grade students
- Locations: Multiple K-12 school sites throughout Milledgeville, GA
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Providing direct therapy to students with speech and language challenges
- Collaborating with educational staff and families to support student communication goals
Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience with pediatric populations in school-based settings preferred
- Familiarity and comfort with teletherapy methods are a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
