This role will be customer-facing and requires the Driver to consult with customers to determine the products and/or amount of products necessary to meet their need. The ideal candidate for this role will understand effective route planning, have excellent driving skills, and will be committed to delivering exceptional Culligan service./p p /p pstrongWhy you’ll love working here:/strong/p ul liWe offer a full-time, Monday-Friday work schedule./li liPay range of $19-$21 per hour, depending on experience. /li liYou’ll receive paid time off (PTO) at a generous accrual rate./li liYou’ll be eligible for a full benefits package, including a 401k with company match, following your introductory period./li liWe’re a stable and growing family-oriented company who regularly offers career advancement opportunities./li liWe believe in upskilling our employees and promoting from within./li liYou’ll have the opportunity to utilize Culligan equipment in your home free of charge!/li /ul p /p pstrongWhat you’ll do:/strong/p pstrongRoute planning and execution:/strong/p ul liPrepare the delivery vehicle each day before leaving the warehouse to ensure it is loaded correctly; familiarize yourself with the route layout and customers’ requests to complete the scheduled route./li liComplete all deliveries on route as scheduled./li liEnsure route optimization by identifying challenges or roadblocks ahead of time to complete the route in the most efficient manner./li /ul pstrongCustomer service: /strong/p ul liInteract with customers while representing the company in a professional and courteous manner./li liAddress customer questions or concerns during deliveries./li /ul pstrongProduct knowledge: /strong/p ul liDevelop a strong understanding of the products being delivered and the proper product handling associated with bottled water, PE tanks, salt, and additional products as applicable./li liProvide information about products to customers when necessary./li /ul pstrongDocumentation:/strong/p ul liComplete customer agreements and route sheets accurately and legibly./li liPerform payment collection from customers; promptly turn in customer payments and daily activity sheets to the office staff at the end of each workday./li liAdhere to the proper utilization of handheld palm units, while entering accurate information concerning the customer and abiding by all rules concerning its use./li /ul pstrongSafety:/strong/p ul liOperate delivery vehicles safely; adhere to traffic rules and DOT regulations./li liPerform Daily Vehicle Inspections (DVIR’s) and report any issues to management./li /ul p /p pstrongWhere you’ll work:/strong/p pCulligan Drivers spend much of their time strongout in the field/strong delivering to both commercial and residential customers – this means you’ll spend extensive time driving and getting in and out of the route truck. strongOur drivers deliver in rain or shine /strongand must be comfortable being exposed to various weather conditions. Commitment to strongsafe driving/strong and ability to strongwork with technology,/strong such as a smartphone and GPS navigation, will be crucial to success in this role. /p p /p pstrongYour qualifications:/strong/p ul liMust maintain a valid Driver’s License./li liMust be able to successfully pass a DOT Physical DOT Drug Screen./li liMust be able to successfully pass a criminal background check per Company requirements./li liMust be at least 21 years of age or older and be able to successfully pass, and maintain, a driving record check to be insurable by the Company to operate a company vehicle./li liMust be able to safely operate/drive company vehicles up to 26,001 lbs. daily for approximately 8-10 hours./li liMust be able to lift up to 90lbs on a repetitive basis./li liMust remain physically capable, with or without reasonable accommodation, of performing the duties required of this position./li /ul
