Using a top-lift or side loader, you'll help minimize driver wait times and keep yard operations running smoothly. This position plays a key role in ensuring proper container and chassis placement, supporting both gate operations and equipment repair teams./p p /p pstrongKey Responsibilities:/strong/p ul lipOperate top-lift and/or side loader equipment to move containers within the yard./p/li lipLoad and unload intermodal containers from and onto chassis./p/li lipStack and unstack containers and chassis according to the established yard plan./p/li lipCoordinate with gate personnel to assist drivers dropping off or picking up equipment./p/li lipSupport the maintenance team by moving equipment for repairs or inspections./p/li lipPerform routine safety checks and report any equipment issues or safety concerns./p/li lipFollow all site safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized yard environment./p/li /ul h2Qualifications/h2 pstrongRequired Qualifications:/strong/p ul liExperience operating top-lift, side loader, or similar heavy equipment./li liStrong attention to safety and situational awareness./li liAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditions./li liGood communication skills and a teamwork-oriented attitude./li liAbility to always follow safety requirements and practices/li liAbility to lift up to 50lbs/li liValid driver’s license/li liMust pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening ul liThe Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standards for railroad operations.
