To plan and conduct a program to meet the physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of each child/p p /p h2Qualifications/h2 pIn addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:/p p /p pBachelor Degreean unrelated area with two three semester hour early childhood education college courses with one course being either Introduction to early childhood education (ECE 101) or guidance strategies (ECE 103) and at least 910 hours of verified experience in the care and supervision of four or more children six years of age who are not related to the individual/p pCompletion of a vocational or occupational education sequence in child growth and development and at least 1,820 hours of verified experience in the care and supervision of four or more children six years of age who are not related to the individual/p pA current Colorado Level 1 credential and at least 3,640 hours of verified experience in the care and supervision of four or more children six years of age who are not related to the individual/p pAssociates Degree/p pCurrent Certification as of Child Development/p pMasters/p pChildhood teacher qualifications and ability to pass Central Registry Inquiry, Colorado Bureau of Investigation fingerprint check, and Federal Bureau of Investigation fingerprint check/p p /p pMedium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly/p p /p pThis is a PRN (as-needed) teacher for our childcare center.  Our hours are 7:30-5:30.  This role does offer a PRN differential on top of base pay.  We require this role to be teacher-qualified through CDEC.  /p p /p h2Your Connected Community/h2 pWe believe in the healing power of humanity and serving the common good through our dedicated work and shared mission to celebrate humankindness. /p p /p pMercy Hospital is an 82 bed, acute care hospital located in the scenic southwestern Colorado town of Durango.
