This role also assists in providing a positive dining experience while complying with all applicable regulations./p h2Join Our Team/h2Join our strong and growing company today! h2Responsibilities/h2 pstrongDining Services Associate Responsibilities:/strong/p ul lipAssist in the preparation and delivery of meals to residents according to department policies and position assignment./p/li lipAdhere to residents’ diet orders, including texture/consistency modifications and menu preferences during food and beverage preparation and service./p/li lipPerform all duties of the assigned position during scheduled shifts, complying with safety regulations and standards of practice./p/li lipServe meals to residents in dining areas following seating charts and tray ticket instructions, as applicable./p/li lipAssist with care and maintenance of kitchen environment and equipment./p/li lipRegularly contribute to and actively participate in facility and department staff meetings and in-services./p/li lipMay communicate with residents and family members regarding meal service quality./p/li lipUtilize the electronic timekeeping system as directed./p/li lipArrive on time and work as scheduled./p/li lipFollow facility dress code including wearing name tag at all times./p/li lipAdhere to policies regarding electronic devices, computers, tablets, etc./p/li lipSupport and abide by Elderwood’s Mission, Vision, and Values./p/li lipComply with Elderwood’s business code of conduct, compliance, and HIPAA policies./p/li lipPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor, management staff, or Administrator./p/li /ul h2From/h2 h2Up to/h2 h2Qualifications/h2 pstrongDining Services Associate Qualifications:/strong/p ul lipMinimum of 16 years of age./p/li lipEmployment Certificate/Permit required for applicable individuals./p/li lipPrior customer service experience./p/li lipServSafe certification or willingness to obtain./p/li lipPhysical stamina necessary for constant activity./p/li lipHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred./p/li lipPrior food service, hospitality, serving, or restaurant experience desired./p/li /ul p /p p /p p /p ul liThis position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level./li /ul h2EOE Statement/h2WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
