Supervisor and senior technician are available for advice and assistance on problems encountered. Work is reviewed on the basis of the adequacy of customer service, equipment maintenance, repair, and calibration./span/p p /p pspanstrongspanMajor Responsibilities/span/strong/span/p ul lispanServes as electronic technician in the Field Service Support function responsible for installation, repair, maintenance, and calibration of all equipment, instruments, and analytical systems in the emission inspection program./span/li lispan Maintains a territory consisting of 75-110 customers. /span/li lispanResponsible for trouble-shooting equipment and analyzing appropriate documents to determine cause of equipment trouble and malfunctions in major test equipment and test procedures within designated territory. /span/li lispanPerforms maintenance of instruments and equipment. /span/li lispanPerforms preventative maintenance and calibration functions. /span/li lispanCalibrates major instruments/and or gas instruments to specified tolerances. /span/li lispanCompletes necessary paperwork and reports on assigned work and assist in the completion of records, reports, and other test documents. /span/li lispanResponsible for the accuracy of inventory in his/her possession. /span/li lispanProvides training to customer base on the proper operation and maintenance of motor vehicle inspection equipment. /span/li lispanResponsible for preventive maintenance on company vehicle assigned./span/li lispanPerforms other duties as assigned.
