You will work in a fast-paced environment and will help to oversee state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoor and out. You will monitor the pool deck and maintain safety on water slides. You will help with aquatics events, such as #34;Dive in Movies#34; amp; #34;/spanspanPoolapalooza.#34;/span/span/pp/ppbuJob Duties and Responsibilities/u/b/pulliGreets and interacts with Members/liliRescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aidspan /span/liliEnsures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activitiesspan /span/liliKeeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure the safety of the Members/li/ulp​/ppbuPosition Requirements/u/b/pulliWorking towards a High School Diploma or GED/liliLifeguard and First Aid Certified/liliAbility to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time/liliAbility to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services/liliAbility to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping/liliAbility to tread water for 1 minute/liliAbility to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping/liliAbility to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs/li/ulp​/ppb​ uPreferred Requirements/u/b/pullip6 months of customer service experience/p/li/ulp​/pp style="text-align:inherit"/ph2uPay/u/h2This is an hourly position with wages starting at $16.50 and pays up to $19.50, based on experience and qualifications.
