As a Repair Technician, you will also perform subassembly. This role delivers superior Customer Experience by providing timely and quality repairs to meet compliance standards, as part of a high performing team./p p /p pThis role will be based in our Chesterfield, MO Repair Lab, where you will have a dedicated work bench. We are hiring Repair Technicians to work Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm./p p /p pNo previous medical repair experience required! strongWe will train you/strong. /p p /p pTransferable experience may include hands-on repair, assembly, or product testing. Other transferable experience might include small engine repair, cell phone and electronics repair/ testing/ re-builds, carpentry, circuit board assembly/repair, industrial sewing, jewelry repair, maintenance, construction, and automotive repair./p/div/divdiv style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"What you'll do as a Repair Technician/H2 /divdivul li pPerform basic to intermediate level repairs of surgical devices and equipment to specifications. /p /li li pIdentify problems and use standardized testing procedures, examine and test mechanisms for defects, replace or repair defective parts./p /li li pTroubleshoot, reassemble surgical devices and tests assembly for conformance to specifications. /p /li li pIdentify risks and issues and escalate timely and effectively. /p /li li pAdhere to Standard Work Instructions (SWI). Become aware of and conform to Company ISO goals and objectives and support ISO requirements. /p /li li pComplete workplace organization audits and safety observations per site requirements. /p /li li pAbide by all Company safety, health policies, and procedures. Use personal protective equipment, as required. /p /li /ul/div/divdiv style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed/H2 /divdivpstrongRequired:/strong/p ul li pHigh School diploma or GED/p /li li p2+ years of work experience, including at least 1 year of relevant experience, or 1 year of experience at STERIS; all experience must be verifiable./p /li li pRelevant experience may include hands-on repair, assembly, or product testing.
