pDescription/ppAmerican Road Group is seeking a Rider Education Coach at Wildcat Harley-Davidson in London, KY! This is a Part Time/Contract position./ppbr//ppProvides instruction and assistance to Rider Education students and assists them in becoming ARG Bike Owners./ppbr//ppstrongMajor Duties and Responsibilities/strong/pulliDaily Rider Education Instruction/liliServe as ambassador for American Road Group to include acquiring, recruiting, training, and integrating new customers./liliDeliver Motorcycle Ohio Rider Education/HDRA sponsored training on a consistent, measurable basis./liliReport and maintain incident records as they pertain to classes and students./liliReport any maintenance issue on a timely basis./liliResponsible for maintaining continuing education/certification requirements by the State, MORE, and HDMC./liliResponsible for accuracy and completeness of all training records/liliMaintain working knowledge of student registration process./liliAct as a liaison to the State and MORE./liliKeep management informed of sale leads, market trends, pricing and product offerings./liliMonitor and ensure compliance w/ safety regulations./liliMaintain state motorcycle endorsement, clean driving record and current MORE Rider Coach Certification. Must be able to meet MORE/HDRA amp; State Codes of Ethics./liliPartner w/ staff to ensure a total team approach to operations and quality assurance./liliResponsible to mentor and assist in the training of new Rider Coaches/liliMust possess understanding of adult learning theory, brain-based learning and their practical applications./liliPossess product knowledge and act as contact in the sales process./liliSupport the Rider’s Education Team, the Reception Department, and all other departments as needed./liliDealership Customer Integration/liliWork directly with Reception to relay new information on prospects to be entered in the CRM./liliWork directly with Sales Management to set up VIP introductions and maintain CRM./liliWork directly with dealership departments during dealership tours./li/ulpRequirements/ppstrongQualifications and Job Requirements/strong/pulliCurrent certifications by Harley-Davidson Motor Company (Harley-Davidson Riding Academy) and Motorcycle Ohio Rider Education Safety Foundation./liliKnowledge and experience with Sales of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and/or motor vehicles sold by a dealership./liliCPR and First Aid Certified./liliCurrent motorcycle license./liliOwn or operate a motorcycle on a regular and frequent basis./liliAbility to remain composed in crisis situations./liliFlexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of the business unit./li/ulpstrongPhysical Demands and Working Environment/strong/pulliThe noise level in the work environment is usually loud./liliOccasionally required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and handle tools./liliOccasionally requires the ability to lift training motorcycles./liliOccasionally requires the ability to balance and push a 400+ lb. motorcycle./liliFrequently works near moving mechanical parts./liliIs potentially exposed to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle service department./liliOccasionally, exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particulates./li/ulpstrongAre you up for a challenge?
