pVascular Ultrasonographer PRNbr/Flexible scheduling, 401k/p pstrongJob Summary/strongnbsp;br/br/The Vascular Ultrasound technologist performs non-invasive diagnostic vascular imaging procedures using ultrasound technology to assist physicians in diagnosing and managing vascular conditions. This role requires a thorough understanding of vascular anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics, as well as technical proficiency in operating vascular ultrasound equipment. The Vascular Ultrasonographer ensures patient comfort, safety, and accurate image acquisition while adhering to established protocols and regulatory standards.nbsp;br/br/strongEssential Functions/strong/p ul liPerforms vascular ultrasound examinations using approved protocols to capture high-quality diagnostic images of arteries, veins, and other vascular structures./li liObtains relevant clinical history from patient interviews, physician orders, or medical records to support accurate diagnostic imaging./li liReviews and correlates prior imaging studies and patient history to optimize exam quality and relevance./li liDocuments and records all pertinent anatomical and pathological findings in accordance with physician and department standards./li liPresents clinical findings and preliminary impressions to the interpreting physician to support diagnostic decisions./li liMaintains and operates ultrasound equipment, ensuring functionality, cleanliness, and readiness in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols./li liMaintains a safe and infection-controlled environment, applying proper procedures in accordance with hospital policy./li liPerforms other duties as assigned./li liComplies with all policies and standards./li /ul pstrongQualifications/strong/p ul li1-2 years of experience performing vascular ultrasound procedures preferred/li /ul pstrongKnowledge, Skills and Abilities/strong/p ul liKnowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and common vascular pathologies./li liProficiency in operating vascular ultrasound equipment and interpreting real-time imaging./li liUnderstanding of vascular hemodynamics and Doppler ultrasound techniques./li liStrong attention to detail and ability to follow complex protocols./li liEffective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with patients, physicians, and staff./li liAbility to adapt to fast-paced clinical environments while maintaining accuracy and professionalism./li /ul pstrongLicenses and Certifications/strong/p ul liRVT - Registered Vascular Technologist registered by ARMDS required or/li liRVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer registered by CCI required/li liBCLS - Basic Life Support required/li /ul
