Follows proper procedure in performing medication administration according to policy and procedure. Performs scheduled activity. Performs housekeeping duties to maintain a sanitary, orderly and attractive environment.brbrbWhat you will dobr/bbrulliAssists the resident with all facets of daily living including meals, housekeeping and laundry./li liRespects residents’ valuables and personal property, including but not limited to clothing, dentures, glasses/contact lenses, hearing aids, and prosthetic devices./li liReports any changes observed in residents’ condition or behavior, including but not limited unusual incidents, vital signs outside of established parameters, weight gain/loss, and charts incomplete assignments and/or refused care to Nurse to ensure continuity of resident care./li liAdministers resident medications according to policy and procedure./li liRecords and charts clinical data such as temperature, pulse, respiration and similar resident information./li liAnswers call lights, anticipates resident needs, and completes frequent rounding. Prepares residents’ rooms and their belongings for admission, transfer, and discharge./li liAssists residents to activities, assists with or direct activities./li liFollows proper procedures for linen changes, cleaning of furniture, equipment, and utensils. Follows proper procedure for reporting equipment that is in need of repair./li liKeeps work environment clean and tidy, including resident rooms, kitchen, utility rooms, staff lounge, refrigerators and storage areas. Replenish supplies in each area as needed; gloves, soap, paper towels and kitchen supplies./li liPrepares dining room for meals. Is familiar with the diet extensions when preparing special diets. Courteously serves meals with attention to eye appeal, sanitation, and temperature. Follows sanitary food handler techniques. Reports poor quality or unsafe food so it is not served./li/ulbrbEssential Qualifications/bbrbrThe individual must be able to work the hours specified.
