Responsibilities will be carried out in a predominantly in-person setting with virtual programming if necessary.nbsp;/ppstrongPrimary Duties/ Responsibilities/strong/pullipPrepare the learning environment, lessons, and necessary supplies for program activities in an in-person and virtual setting/p/lilipPlan and lead meaningful activities that include; but are not limited to, arts and crafts, reading, character development, physical fitness, and/or nutrition in a physical and online setting for students at the intended work site and other sites as needed/p/lilipPrimary activities will have a stronger focus onnbsp;STEM/STEAM, coding, robotics, and 3D printing, academic support in mathematics/p/lilipAssist childrennbsp;with homework and academic enrichment activities/p/lilipEnsure the safety and supervision of students/p/lilipPromote an inclusive, welcoming, and respectful environment that embraces the diversity of all participants/p/lilipMaintain accurate program documentation/p/lilipMaintain a clean and organized classroomnbsp;as well as common areas/p/lilipMaintain a safe working environment for students/p/li/ulpbr/ppstrongMinimum Requirements/strong/ppmiddot; nbsp; nbsp;High school diploma or equivalent/ppmiddot; nbsp; nbsp;Must be eligible to work in the United States and be able to pass a criminal background check with a Fingerprint check/ppmiddot; nbsp; nbsp;Proficiency in basic computer skills such as navigating websites, using email suites (Gmail, Outlook, etc.), and search engines/ppmiddot; nbsp; nbsp;Prior use of, or willingness to learn, online educational tools such as Google Classrooms, Zoom, and ClassDojo, amongst others/ppmiddot; nbsp; nbsp;Flexibility to meet the changing work needs and demands/ppmiddot; nbsp; nbsp;Ability to lead various fitness activities as well as supervise/participate in sports/ppmiddot; nbsp; nbsp;Ability to organize activities and make sound judgments/ppmiddot; nbsp; nbsp;Ability to interact with a range of age groups/ppstrongPreferred Requirements/strong/ppmiddot; nbsp; nbsp;Six months of experience working with children; preferably providing educational and/or support to economically disadvantaged families/ppmiddot; nbsp; nbsp;Coursework in Education, Child Development, and/or other related fields/pulliKnowledgeable in the fields of STEAM, particularly coding, robotics, and 3d Printing./li/ulpmiddot; nbsp; nbsp;Bi-lingual (Spanish, Arabic, or other)/ppstrongbr/strong/ppstrongWorking Conditions/strong/ppAbility to work in all types of climate atmospheres (hot and cold temperatures) and wet environments, both inside and outside. Occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials can be expected. May be asked to clean up bodily fluids with appropriate training and personal protective equipment provided./ppstrongPhysical Requirements/strong/ppProlonged periods of standing and frequent bending.
