Quality Technician ($21.57 – $26.10) - Full-time

Overview: p style="margin: 0in;"span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; color: black;"$1.50/hr. shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift/span/pp style="margin: 0in;"strongspan style="font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; color: black;"($21.57-$26.10)/span/strong/pp style="margin: 0px;" /pp style="margin: 0px;"Tests and inspects products at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties.  /p Responsibilities: ullispan style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Perform dimensional inspections from customer drawings with some complexity of GDT and visual inspection throughout the fabrication and assembly process./span/lilispan style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Experience with measuring tools – caliper, venires, micrometers, mil thickness gage, CMM experience preferred./span/lilispan style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Documents, files, and maintains inspection records as well as other quality assurance documents including Customer sample submissions./span/lilispan style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Effectively document and control all Non-Conforming Material. Initiates, distributes, and assists in resolution of non-conforming product issues including handling of quarantine, on hold and rejected materials./span/lilispan style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Interface with Quality department, Engineering, Purchasing, and Team Leads on quality issues and report out. /span/lilispan style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Report to and sometimes lead various meetings through the work week./span/lilispan style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Develop work standards and documents as required. /span/lilispan style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"Assist and perform assigned tasks as they relate to Continuous Improvement projects. /span/li/ul Qualifications: p style="margin: 0in;"strongspan style="color: black;"EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE/span/strong/pp style="margin: 0in;"High School Diploma or equivalent; six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience./pp style="margin: 0in;"strong /strong/pp style="margin: 0in;"strongLANGUAGE ABILITY/strong/pp style="margin: 0in;"Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. /pp style="margin: 0in;" /pp style="margin: 0in;"strongMATH ABILITY/strong/pp style="margin: 0in;"span style="font-size: 11.0pt; color: black;"Ability to work with fractions, percentages, and both imperial and metric measurements.
