This position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of procurement activities, including sourcing supplies, processing invoices, and maintaining vendor communications. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency./ppstrongWhatnbsp;Yoursquo;ll Do:/strong/pul type="disc"liAcquire a wide range of standard commercial supplies using competitive acquisition procedures./liliReview purchase requests for compliance and completeness, including item descriptions, cost estimates, and required sources./liliDetermine appropriate purchasing methods based on urgency, price, and availability./liliInput procurement actions and updates into the automated procurement system, including price changes, delivery updates, and cancellations./liliVerify invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and delivery documentation to ensure accuracy./liliCoordinate with vendors and the internal accounts payable team to ensure complete and timely invoice submissions./liliMaintain accurate records of purchases and payments and assist with vendor statement reconciliation./liliSupport other procurement and administrative tasks as needed by the supervisor or project manager./li/ulpstrongWhat Yoursquo;ll Bring:/strong/pul type="disc"liHigh School Diploma or equivalent./liliFamiliarity with procurement and invoicing processes./liliExperience using Microsoft Word, Excel and/or Access./liliAbility to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly in a warehouse environment./liliStrong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures./liliBasic computer skills and ability to use procurement or financial systems./liliStrong written and verbal communication skills in English./liliMust possess and maintain an active and valid driver#39;s license without restrictions./liliReliable transportation to and from Durham, NC site./liliAbility to obtain facility/site security credentials./liliMust be proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure effective communication and collaboration./liliSuccessful results of preemployment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen./liliComply with company drug and alcohol policy./liliBe authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidatersquo;s start date./li/ulpstrongPreferred Qualifications:/strong/pul type="disc"liOne year of experience in procurement or contract support./liliExperience using procurement or asset management software (e.g., Nuvolo)/liliExperience in facilities maintenance, warehouse, construction, government, and/or laboratory setting./li/ulpstrongCompensationnbsp;/strong/ppExpected Salary: $29.20/hr/ppVersar Global Solutions is providing the compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that the Company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position based on the successful applicantrsquo;s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location.
