This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting medium voltage systems (600V–35kV) critical to continuous power delivery across substations, distribution networks, and plant facilities./ppbWhat your day-to-day will look like:/b/pulliInstall, maintain, and repair medium voltage electrical systems including switchgear, transformers, motor control centers, and protective relays in utility substations and commercial plant settings./liliPerform cable terminations and splicing using certified methods (heat shrink, cold shrink, etc.)./liliConduct diagnostic tests such as insulation resistance, phasing, hi-pot, and load testing./liliInterpret and follow electrical one-lines, schematics, and technical drawings./liliSupport planned outages, new equipment installs, and infrastructure upgrades./liliWork closely with utility engineers, plant maintenance teams, and contractors to ensure electrical systems meet operational needs and safety standards./liliMonitor and troubleshoot power distribution for reliability, identifying root causes of faults or interruptions./liliMaintain compliance with NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E, and utility company requirements./liliParticipate in on-call and emergency response rotation to support 24/7 facility operations./liliKeep detailed maintenance logs and documentation on all service activities./li/ulpbRequired Qualifications:/b/pulliHigh school diploma or GED required/liliMinimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience with bmedium voltage systems in utility or industrial/commercial environments/b./liliCertified in medium voltage splicing and terminating (NCCER, IBEW, or equivalent) is a plus./liliStrong knowledge of utility power distribution systems, switchgear operation, and relay protection./liliExcellent understanding of electrical safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures./liliPhysically fit to perform field work, climb ladders, and lift equipment as needed./liliValid driver’s license/li/ulpbPreferred Qualifications:/b/pullielectrical trade school or apprenticeship strongly preferred./li/ulpbLocation: /b/ppOnsite – Chesterfield, MO/ppbSalary/ Comp: /b/ppb$35.25 - $41.73 USD per hour/b/pp[Inclusion Statement] At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way — for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees.
