This is a non-exempt hourly position great for candidates looking to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic organization.#xa0;/ppIn this leadership development position, you will be learning the role and responsibilities of our Personal Training Manager and/or Personal Training Programming and Development Manager. By starting in this position, you will go through an educational program designed to prepare you to step into a Personal Training Manager or Assistant Personal Training Manager./ppRESPONSIBILITIES:#xa0;/pulliAccountability of team’s business deliverables by setting targets, following up, providing feedback and support for progress#xa0;/liliBuild and establish a client base by executing fitness evaluations (Equifits), orientations, stretching and personal training sessions#xa0;/liliGenerate PT Sales leads, scheduled lead generation activities, and support trainer development to build a successful business#xa0;/liliAbility to Fast Track through Equinox’ EFTI (Equinox Fitness Training Institute) training program#xa0;/liliAbility to complete the MIT (Manager in Training) program.#xa0;/liliProvide a high level of personalized attention to members#xa0;/liliMaintain knowledge and/or participation in all club services, programs, and products#xa0;/liliUpdate and maintain the Personal Training App#xa0;/liliInstruct and demonstrate to members on the proper use of equipment and exercise techniques which may include operating equipment and dynamically moving weight up to 50 pounds#xa0;/liliProvide each member and potential member with the best quality customer service#xa0;/liliAdjust and operate all fitness equipment#xa0;/liliRegular and predictable attendance#xa0;/liliAttend Personal Training related meetings#xa0;/liliOther duties as assigned#xa0;/li/ulstrongQualifications:/strongulliCurrent nationally recognized Personal Training certification or Bachelors/Masters Degree in the field- (Preferred)#xa0;/liliMultiple continuing education certifications – (Preferred)#xa0;/liliCPR/AED certification (Required)#xa0;/lili1-3 yrs. of Personal Training experience (Preferred)#xa0;/liliMust have full time availability including, but not limited to Weekends amp; Holidays#xa0;#xa0;/liliProven experience building a business and attracting new clientele#xa0;/liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills#xa0;/liliPossess honesty and personal integrity#xa0;/liliPossess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding the fitness industry#xa0;/liliExcel in time management, organizational and follow-up skills#xa0;/liliReliable, professional, computer literate, energetic, and friendly#xa0;/li/ulpstrongPay Transparency: $28.13/hr#xa0;/strong/pstrongAdditional Information:/strongpustrongAS A MEMBER OF THE EQUINOX TEAM YOU WILL RECEIVE:/strong/u/pulliWe offer competitive salary, benefits, and industry leading commission opportunities for club employees/liliComplimentary Club membership/liliPerks and incentives with our products and services including Personal Training, Pilates, Spa and Shop/li/ulpThis job description is intended to describe the general requirements for the position.
