You will also fill in at the Franklin Area Resource Center on a weekly basis as needed. This position is primarily responsible for processing Fuel and Electric Assistance applications in a timely and accurate mannerstrong. /strongYour day will involve:nbsp;/pulliPerforming client intake and outreach for the Fuel and Electric Assistance programs. Verifying and documenting information as required by each program and insuring confidentiality of client information.nbsp;/liliAnswering telephone calls and in-person inquiries, determining client needs, and making appropriate referrals to Agency and other outside programs.nbsp;/liliFiling and completing general office duties as well other tasks assigned by the Area Resource Center Site Coordinator.nbsp;/liliAssisting with the operation of the food pantry at the area center, including distributing food to clients who visit the pantry./li/ulpYour role will directly contribute to a positive participant experience, and to the overall operation of the area center./ppRequirements/ppstrongQualifications to Be an Intake Staff member:/strong/ppTo excel in this role, you’ll need:nbsp;/pullistrongEducation:/strong High school diploma or equivalency credential/lilistrongExperience:/strongnbsp;/liliOne year of prior office or customer service experience./liliCustomer service skills and the ability to work with the public and other stakeholders./liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills.nbsp;/liliA strong desire to assist others in helping themselves./li/ulpReliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required, as some travel within the community and between area centers is necessary.nbsp;/ppnbsp;nbsp;/ppstrongReady to Apply?/strong/ppIf this job sounds like a fit for you, click to apply.
