A barista should have the ability to identify and utilize food service equipment including but not limited to, manual espresso machines, drip coffee brewers, coffee bean grinders, frozen yogurt machines, and serving utensils. The barista position supports the mission of SpaceX by providing quality customer service, a welcoming atmosphere, and accurate order fulfillment to help ensure our services boost morale and productivity across the company.nbsp; nbsp;/p pstrongRESPONSIBILITIES: /strong/p ul liSet up, work, and maintain a clean and safe workstation/li liComplete daily prep tasks/li liHelp the team meet time and quality standards set by supervisor/li liClean and maintain departmental tools and equipment, i.e. drip coffee stations/li liProvide good customer service/li liInventory/order supplies as needed/li /ul pstrongBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:/strong/p ul liHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate/li li2+ years of customer service experience in a food service environment that includes coffee and beverage services/li /ul pstrongPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:/strong/p ul li3+ years of customer service-related experience in a food service environment that includes coffee and beverage services/li liSound understanding of food safety and sanitation practices/li liPossession of or willingness to obtain WA food handler card/li liManual espresso machine experience/li liHigh level of professionalism/li liExperience in a corporate environment/li liBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook primarily)/li liStrong communication skills, both written and verbal/li liWillingness to learn and take guidance from others/li /ul pstrongADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:/strong/p ul liMust be available to work the following shiftnbsp;/li ul li1st Shift A: Monday - Friday, start time between 5AM - 8 AMnbsp;/li /ul liAbility to carry large heavy items, such as dishes in tubs or trays unassisted (up to 25 lbs.)/li liAbility to stand for long periods of time – up to 8 hours a day/li liAbility to work all shifts and available for overtime and weekends, as needed/li liAbility to perform frequent bending, stooping, and lifting of objects/li /ul pstrongCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: nbsp;/strong nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;/p pPay Range:nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;brBarista/Level 1: $22.50/hournbsp;brBarista/Level 2: $24.50/hournbsp;/p pYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience./p pBase salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
