SUN Community Schools are school-based delivery sites for a comprehensive set of services including educational, enrichment, recreational, social and health services. Markham Elementary is/spanspan style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif"nbsp;seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated instructors for temporary assignments at Markham Elementary School. strongemThis position is for the 2025-2026 school year. Fall termnbsp;runs October 6, 2025nbsp;through December 19,nbsp;2025. Hours are Monday through Thursday 2:15 PM - 5:00 PM./em/strongThe assignment begins on the first day of the term and ends on the last day, with the possibility of extending the role into future terms (summer, fall, winter, spring) by mutual agreement. /span/p pnbsp;/p puspan style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif"strongESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:/strong/span/u/p ul lispan style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif"Teach after-school activity classes/span/li lispan style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif"Supervise groups of 10-15 children, ages 5-11./span/li lispan style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif"Track and ensure academic and social emotional development of students./span/li lispan style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif"Act as a positive role-model for students./span/li lispan style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif"Participate and implement support program safety to ensure students are in a safe environment./span/li lispan style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif"Develop curriculum for activity classes./span ul lispan style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif"It is important to us that our staff LOVE the subjects they are teaching.
