This individual provides direct care and works collaboratively with other members of the care team to achieve optimal patient care. This incumbent has access to confidential patient information, provides direct patient care, and functions clinically under the direct supervision of the physician. If working in a Scribe role this individual enters information into the Electronic Medical Record or Chart at the direction of a physician or licensed independent practitioner. The Scribe does not and may not act independently but documents the physician's or licensed independent practitioner's dictation and/or activities. This incumbent also reports to the practice manager or designee./p pstrongRequired Educational Degree:/strong Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program or LPN, RN with Current Ohio license/p pstrongMajor/Area of Concentration:/strong Medical Assisting. Nursing, LPN, RN/p pstrongRequired Certifications, Credentials and Licenses:nbsp;/strongRegistered through American Allied Health (AAH), American Medical Technologists (AMT), or Certified through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). Successful completion of Adena skills assessment and written test annually. BLS - Basic Life Support/p pstrongRequired Experience:/strong 1-2 years experience in medical office or similar capacity.
