You will build a career that you are proud of, at a company you can believe in./pp/ppFerguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Pipe Yard Supervisor./pp/ppbSchedule: /b/pp/ppM-F 6am - 3pm/pp/ppbPosition Details:/b/pulliReports to Logistics Manager/liliDirect oversight of 3 to 5 associates/li/ulp/ppbResponsibilities:/b/pulliMaintain and develop a productive pipe yard by hiring, training and providing professional development for all of its associates/liliSupervise and coordinate unloading and stocking of inbound shipments and the picking and shipping of outbound orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness with both product and paperwork/liliEnsure pipe yard space is utilized effectively and kept clean and orderly/liliEnsure integrity of inventory and confirm that cycle counts are completed/liliMaintain security of pipe yard and safety of all associates and equipment, reporting any accidents and conveying any issues to branch management/li/ulp/ppbQualifications:/b/pulliA strong background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is required/lili2#43; years of warehouse or pipe yard management or supervisory experience is preferred/liliMaterial Handling Equipment Certification/liliA working knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations/liliGood judgment and decision-making abilities/liliGreat communication skills and the ability and desire to lead a team/li/ulp/ppAt Ferguson, we care for each other.
