Knife Operator - Full-time

Full-time, 3rd Shift, Monday thru Friday with overtime required when necessary, including some weekends./span/p pspan /span/p pspanThis is a hourly position with growth potential!  You will be responsible for all activities associated with running the Knife Machine in the Corrugating department. This includes setup, operation, clean-up, quality checks and recommending improvements to operations./span/p pspan /span/p pstrongspanQUALIFICATIONS/span/strong/p ul lispanHigh School Diploma/GED/span/li lispanStrong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment/span/li /ul pspan /span/p pstrongspanDUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES/span/strong/p ul lispanMonitor product quality, including, but not limited to, loose liner, warp, correct size, and print. /span/li lispanContinuously monitor the board during runs to ensure quality and make adjustments as necessary./span/li lispanTurn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs./span/li lispanAssist in the training of new employees/span/li lispanComply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping./span/li lispanAdditional duties may be assigned by management./span/li /ul ul lispanAdheres to production schedule. Makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality and service goals.
