Forklift/Laborer

pThe Forklift Operator works in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with changing priorities throughout the day. The primary responsibilities of this role include the moving and storing of materials based on production work orders./p pspanstrongEssential Functions:/strong/span/p pspanThe following is a list of specific duties which are considered the essential functions of this job.nbsp; The list is not exhaustive, as all positions at the Company are dynamic.nbsp; The employee who occupies this position is expected to assume any/all duties assigned by management irrespective of whether such duties are specifically included in this list./span/p ul lispanCollects and delivers raw materials, semi-finished and finished products./span/li lispanRotates stock, loads and unloads skids and bands material before moving product./span/li lispanIdentifies material to ensure that correct material is supplied./span/li lispanMoves and stores materials and keep assigned areas supplied with material./span/li lispanWorks from schedules, production orders and instructions./span/li lispanClears and moves scrap./span/li lispanAssists in other departments and works on the lines as necessary./span/li lispanMaintains fork lift truck by placing on charge and notifying supervision when truck is not operating properly./span/li lispanCompletes daily fork safety inspection.nbsp;/span/li lispanCompletes cycle counts as required./span/li lispanMaintains material storage areas as required./span/li lispanEnsures all material is properly labeled prior to transport./span/li lispanMust attain a good understanding of HFI and mill claim processes./span/li lispanFollow all safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition/span/li lispanPerforms other duties as assigned./span/li /ul pstrongRequirements:/strong/p ul lispanAt least three to five years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.nbsp;/span/li /ul pspanstrongKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:/strong/span/p ul lispanMust be able to read, write and speak fluent English./span/li lispanExposure/experience to manufacturing./span/li lispanForklift Certified./span/li lispanUnderstands quality, PPE requirements and safety and the importance of complying with safety policies and procedures./span/li /ul pspanstrongPhysical/Visual Demands/Work Environment (Physical and visual activities that are commonly associated * with the performance of the functions of this job):/strong/span/p ul lispanWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to walk and stand./span/li lispanThe position is associated with pushing, pulling, climbing, handling, reaching, stretching, and working in tight and high places./span/li /ul pspanstrongEnvironmental/Atmospheric Conditions:/strong/span/p pspan(Environmental and atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job)./span/p ul lispanInside conditions, extremes of heat (100+ seasonal), exposure to humidity, working in tight areas, high noise levels from production environment, including some exposure to outside weather elements, oil and dirt./span/li /ul pspan* “Commonly associated” is not intended to mean always or only.nbsp; There may be different experiences that suggest other ways or circumstances where reasonable changes or accommodations are appropriate./span/ph2Company/h2divspanDo you want to work with people who are dedicated to innovation and making the world a better place?
