Shifts available are below:/p p /p pstrongDay Shift Schedule:/strong/p ul li7:00AM - 7:00PM/li /ul pstrongWhy should you apply?/strong/p p /p pBy joining Pactiv Evergreen Packer Team, you will be part of a global leader with endless opportunities for building the career you want!  In addition, as a Process Tech, you will receive:/p ul li3-day weekend every other week /li liOnly at work 15 days out of the month/li liExcellent benefits/li liPaid time off/li liReimbursement up to $80 for steel toe shoes/li /ul pstrongCompensation:/strong/p ul liCompetitive starting pay rate $37.31-$47.97/li liEligible for annual skill-based wage increases/li liAdd EXTRA money to your paycheck by referring friends and family/li liEligible for monthly bonus based upon plant productivity/li /ul pstrong /strong/p pstrongBenefits: /strong/p ul liMedical, Dental, Vision /li liPrescription drug coverage/li li401K with a company match /li liNew Hire Wellness Bonus (see plan details)/li liHealthcare and Dependent day care flexible spending accounts/li liCorporate discounts/li /ul h2Responsibilities/h2 pThe Hourly Process Tech will guide the overall team’s mission in productivity, safety, quality, operations, continuous improvement and team effectiveness./p p /p pstrongEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/strong/p ul liAssist with performing changeovers with minimal downtime/li liEnsure all products are running at standard production rate for assigned shift/li liUpdate, review and provide recommendations to plant Process Engineer for process sheet updates/li liDevelop, implement and execute programs to improve overall product quality and line efficiencies./li liAbility to operate and troubleshoot processes and equipment at an elevated level to resolve complex issues with supporting plant maintenance, automation, and tooling teams/li /ul p /p pstrongTechnical Knowledge:/strong/p ul liProcess expert in the areas of sheet extrusion, forming and trimming of thermoformed products.  /li liGood understanding of mechanical and electrical principles and applications./li liAbility to operate thermoforming and extrusion equipment. /li liDemonstrates knowledge of company specific product, material and/or production technological methods and procedures, and capabilities of machines and equipment in manufacturing facilities./li liDemonstrates advanced mechanical aptitude and abilities./li liDemonstrates ability to troubleshoot and efficiently identify appropriate course of action through leverage problem solving activities./li /ul ul lipstrongemSafety/em/strongstrong /strong /p ul liSeek to understand and support a safety culture and workplace  /li liRemain aware of surroundings and obtain knowledge of all required PPE for the job  /li liResponsible for following all required safety procedures are for each task you do  /li liKeep work area clean and organized   /li liReport any safety concern, risk, hazard, near miss, or injury immediately to the appropriate supervision on shift  /li /ulpstrongemQuality/em/strongstrong /strong /p ul liFollow all GMP guidelines required by the site and for each work station /li liInspect all product passing through the workstation for any possible defects or product concerns /li liReport any concerns on quality of product immediately to appropriate supervision on shift  /li /ul/li /ul p /p p /p h2Qualifications/h2 pstrongRequired Qualifications:/strong/p ul liMinimum 5 years relevant experience (or similar combination of education and experience). /li liExperience in plastics processing, including forming and extrusion required/li liExperience working with machinery/li liUnderstanding of tooling, machining, material flow practices for extrusion and thermoforming/li liStrong interpersonal skills to be able to train, communicate, and lead effectively/li liAbility to work a 12 hours COP shift/li /ul pstrongPreferred Qualifications:/strong/p ul liTwo or four year technical degree or certification/li liProject team coordinator experience/li liExperience with FEA (finite element analysis) and quality gauges to support a zero part defect environment./li /ul pstrongPactiv Evergreen/strong is now a part of Novolex.
