The Maintenance I teammate troubleshoots, repairs, and perform preventive maintenance actions on material handling equipment and other facility support systems in the distribution center environment. /span/p pspanstrongBenefits you can count on: /strong/span/p ul liPay rate: $18.00 per hour. /li lispanstrong2nd shift /strong/span/li lispanGenerous benefits that start on your 60th day: medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA and company-paid life insurance./span/li lispanEarn vacation time, and sick leave accrual from day one and paid holidays after 90 days./span/li lispan401(k) Profit Sharing Plan after 90 days./span/li lispanAdditional benefits: pet insurance, parental leave, employee assistance programs, discount programs, tuition reimbursement program, and more!/span/li /ul pspanstrongWhat you’ll do as a Warehouse Maintenance I: /strong/span/p ul lispanEnsure that spare parts usage, inventory and work order actions are accurately tracked and documented according to Company policy. /span/li lispanAssist with DC maintenance requirements such as (but not limited to) refrigeration systems, plumbing, building lighting, welding, dock doors, air systems, racking, tote washer, and air spray painting. /span/li lispanMaximize availability of all classes of batteries by managing charging cycles and battery rotation. /span/li lispanPerform inspections and cleaning; do specific gravity checks; evaluate cable serviceability and repair damage. /span/li lispanDevelop a working knowledge of the required aspects of the McLane Maintenance Connection database. /span/li lispanOther duties may be assigned. /span/li /ul pspanstrongQualifications you’ll bring as a Warehouse Teammate: /strong/span/p ul lispanAt least 18 years of age. /span/li lispanHigh School Diploma or GED preferred. /span/li lispanAt least 1 year of professional experience in industrial maintenance. /span/li lispanAt least 1 year of maintenance experience with material handling equipment. /span/li lispanAble to read and understand electrical schematics. /span/li lispanExperience with distribution center industrial equipment, including (but not limited to) forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, tuggers, and carts. /span/li lispanKnowledge of OSHA regulations. /span/li lispanBasic computer skills with experience in a maintenance database such as MP2, DataStream 7i, or Maintenance Connection.  /span/li lispanThis position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
