Report all facilities concerns through the secured email system to the Residential Services Coordinator and Residential Director./li liMaintain DDM vehicles and observe all policies and traffic laws./li liSupervise residents with self-administration of medications as prescribed and follow DDM policy concerning medications./li liSchedule, transport, and become the residents advocate at medical appointments as needed and complete documentation in the electronic documentation system./li liMaintain resident records as according to DDM policy and be able to use electronic documentation for health records, ISP goals, community activities, daily activities and incident reports./li liAccounting for the management of petty cash and residentrsquo;s personal money./li liDemonstrate the ability to create healthy menus, grocery shop if assigned, prepare meals, according to menus, and properly store and label food./li liAudit and understand the documentation required for the individuals served./li liAt all times respect and treat individuals served as adults who have rights and responsibilities./li liIt may be necessary to perform tasks of a nature requiring supporting residents with equilibrium problems, lifting, stooping, bending, and climbing stairs./li liMaintain contact with Residential Services Coordinator and Residential Director (if needed) and report any significant events immediately including concerns from families./li liDemonstrate professionalism and contact immediate supervisor when: ul livisited by any state agency/li lipresented with concerns by family and day programs/li livisited by support coordination/li /ul /li liComplete training schedule as noted in the Employee Accountability Checklist./li liMaintain confidentiality regarding residents and other staff members as required by HIPAA./li liEnsure that all individuals are supported and can explore and express their interest for community membership./li liAny other task as assigned that provide supports for the individuals served./li liDemonstrate flexibility and willingness to go beyond specific limitations of job description./li /ul h4Qualifications/h4brul liMinimum educational requirements specified in licensing regulations (currently high school diploma or GED). Must bring a copy of your diploma./li liAt least 21 (twenty-one) years of age./li liHold prior to employment a valid Georgia driverrsquo;s license (with no more than 2 driving violations in the past 3 years; no DUI or super speeder tickets)./li liReceive satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report, Criminal Record Check, Physicianrsquo;s Statement, and TB test./li liBasic computer skills./li liAble to demonstrate the principles of meal planning and preparation, personal hygiene, proper manners, personal conduct, and good grooming./li liWriting and documentation skills./li liWorking skills in communicating and dealing effectively with others./li liExperience or training in the field of Developmental Disabilities, Mental Health, Special Education, or Social Services is a plus./li liFlexible team player/li liMust be a US Citizen or have a valid green card./li /ul
