The Service Apprentice will work onsite, under close supervision of the Lead Service Technician. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, installing wires and equipment, responding to service calls, conducting site surveys, performing installation startup, system commissioning, and customer training./p pstrongLocation/strong: Salt Lake City, UT/p pstrongPay Range:/strong $18 - $22 Hour/p pstrongWhat you�ll do:/strong/p pstrongDuties and Responsibilities/strong/p ol liAssist with installs/services electronic and physical security products./li liAssist assigned lead technician with installs and continues in the field education and training./li liInstalls and wires electronic equipment used in systems./li liAccounts for all installation tools/equipment and all job parts/inventory./li liTests all installed/serviced equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with customers� requirements./li liCommunicates important project status information to management and customers as necessary (installation or service)./li liConducts site surveys upon request of management./li liCompletes and turns in all required paperwork in a timely manner according to established procedures and deadlines, i.e. timesheets, expense reports, change orders, equipment transfers, etc./li liAssists in maintaining assigned truck stock inventory in an organized manner./li liAssists in keeping assigned vehicle clean inside and out./li liCoordinates and ensures vehicle is maintained according to established standards./li liMaintains clean driving record and operates company vehicles using safe driving practices./li liPerforms other related duties as assigned./li /ol pstrongWhat you bring:/strong/p pHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentbr / Valid driver's license and clean driving record requiredbr / Customer service experience is preferred.br / Ability to travel for up to a week.br / Ability to lift to 75 lbs./p pstrongQualifications:/strong/p pTo perform this job successfully, candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
