Custodian, C-III (evenings) - 40 hrs/wk

pThis position is open to internal and external candidates./p pnbsp;/p pQualifications: No license is required/p pSalary Range: Step 15, Local 66 Contract/p pTerm: 40 hours/week - 12 months/p pPrimary Location: District-wide, primary location secondary site/p pstrongHours: Approximately 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm/strong/p pnbsp;/p pThe applicant shall be responsible for the following:nbsp; cleanliness of the areas assigned; maintaining and repairing the building and building contents; and performing all other duties that may be assigned by the building principal, Director of Buildings and Grounds, or the superintendent./p ul liVacuum and clean carpets/li liSweep or mop all tile floors and entryways as assignednbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;/li liWash all assigned whiteboards daily/li liClean boysrsquo; and girlsrsquo; washrooms and locker rooms as assigned/li liDry mop and wet mop stairways and wash down the railings/li liSweep all hallways as assigned and remove black marks on floors/li liDust top and wash front of lockers/li liWash walls and windows; dust; and change light bulbs whenever necessary/li liCheck and secure all outside doors and windows before leaving/li liOperate scrubbing machines/li liHeavy lifting and pushing (up to 75 pounds) (e.g., moving furniture, 5-gallon cans of wax, stripping compound and cleaners, moving cases of paper and other supplies, and unloading of trucks)/li liSet up and take down of furniture and equipment necessary for educational programs held in the building/li liClean and sanitize wastebaskets and garbage cans/li liPerform routine operations in maintenance at heights up to 8-15 feet (i.e., replace light bulbs, ceiling tile, ventilator grids, and painting)/li liRemove snow from walkways/li liMaintain grounds/li liPerform cleaning services in and around the building as needed/li liWork together as a team with co-workers/li liWork with students, staff, and community members to create a positive environment/li liValid MN Driver's License/li /ul pstrongemScreening Procedure:nbsp;nbsp;/em/strongThe District reserves the managerial right to make an assessment of the candidatersquo;s custodial knowledge and physical ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position./p pnbsp;/p pInternal Application Deadline:nbsp; Friday, August 1, 2025 -nbsp; 3:00 p.m.nbsp;/p pExternal Application Deadline: nbsp;Open until filled/p pnbsp;/p
