pstrongLutheran Social Services of WI and Upper MI (LSS)/strong is looking for a dedicated and passionate Bilingual Therapist, Licensed or In Training, to join our School Centered Mental Health team. This position will require fluency in Spanish./p

pstrongAbout the School Centered Mental Health (SCMH) program/strong/p
pSchool Centered Mental Health is a school, in home, and community based program designed to support the mental health needs of children as well as families. The SCMH model includes 7 dimensions, School Partnerships, Therapy, Health Navigation, Research and Assessment, Family Coaching, Behavioral Interventions, and Training and Education. Our spanservices reach beyond traditional school based mental health programs to include trauma-informed therapy, family coaching, behavior interventions and education/training and assessment./span/p
pstrongAs a Therapist with School Centered Mental Health, you will:/strong/p
ul
liProvide individual, couples, family, and/or group psychotherapy services to adult and/or child/minor clients in a school, office, out-of-home care setting and/or home setting./li
liConduct assessments of client needs using clinical interview, objective diagnostic tools, and collateral contacts./li
liDevelop treatment plans collaboratively with clients and other providers./li
liAttend client/recovery team meetings./li
liAttend and participate in staff development programs, including in-service training, staff meetings, and professional seminars./li
liParticipate in clinical supervision meetings as required to meet best practice and licensure standards./li
liWork a flexible weekly schedule that may include some evening and/or weekend hours for client appointments./li

pstrongEssential Skills and Qualifications/strong/p

liBackground Check Required/li
liEducation: A completed Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related program is required./li
liExperience: Practicum experience, through your degree program, related to services LSS provides is required./li
liValid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required./li
liEligibility for the in training or full license to practice as a therapist by meeting criteria set by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services./li
liLanguage: This position requires fluency in Spanish and will require the candidate to complete a language proficiency test during the hiring process./li

liIf the employee has been with LSS for 1 year prior, they will receive full reimbursement for licensure and/or exam costs for your first attempt. LSS also pays for bi-annual renewals./li
liIf the employee is considered part-time, LSS will pay for half of the associated licensure and exam costs for your first attempt. LSS also pays for bi-annual renewals./li

liIt is required for your position to maintain a state license in a mental health or substance abuse related field./li
