divstrongJob Summary/strong: We are looking for anbsp;Maintenance Technician/Maintenance Engineernbsp;to maintain the entire hotel facility, including physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, H.V.A.C. systems and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs. This person will ensure the upkeep of guest areas and grounds to maintain an attractive hotel. Assigns and verifies completion of all repairs, replacement and renovation projects to offices, guest rooms and employee work areas to management/div /li li divMaintains effective Energy Management and Preventive Maintenance programs in accordance with brand standards. Operates with safe and efficient use of equipment and energy in the hotel/div /li li divInforms the Chief Engineer, Assistant General Manager and General Manager on a regular basis, regarding the specific and overall condition of the building structure(s). Accesses and inputs information into a computer and generates required reports/div /li li divMaintains logs, records, and other documentation pertinent to the support of the engineering programs/div /li li divInstalls, tests, visually inspects, cleans out and repairs pipes, plumbing systems and other related equipment/div /li li divErects, dismantles, and maintains plumbing structures, fixtures, and materials/div /li li divPerforms janitorial work ndash; clean stairwells, public spaces, parking lot, and maintenance area/div /li li divPerforms ground maintenance including general cleanup, landscaping, mowing and trimming/div /li li divPerforms buildings and facilities maintenance including conducting daily testing and monitoring of the pool and whirlpool/div /li /ul pstrongQualifications/strong/p ul liRegular attendance is essential/li liMay be required to work varying schedules and holidays/li liRequired to fully comply with the hotelrsquo;s rules and regulations/li liAny combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training, trade skill or experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities/li liWorking knowledge of OSHA safety procedures and regulations/li /ul divstrongWork Environment/Physical Requirements:/strong/div ul liRequires working inside as well as out of doors in all weather conditions/li liAspects of job may require working in extreme temperatures/li liWorking in small confined areas in awkward positions is required/li liPhysical activities include walking, talking, seeing, hearing, reaching, holding, lifting, grasping, stooping, bending, crawling, stretching, kneeling/li liConsiderable dexterity of hands, fingers, and wrists is required/li liMust be able to maneuver up and down ladders of varying heights/li liAbility to walk and stand for long periods is required/li liAbility to lift and carry 100 pounds.
