Our citrus can be found in all channels of distribution, with our consumer brands most visible in the produce department of grocery stores across America under the flagship consumer brands of Wonderful Halos mandarins and Wonderful Sweet Scarletts Texas Red grapefruit./pstrongJob Description:/strongpstrongOverview:/strong/ppIndividual will perform preventative/predictive maintenance, repairs and improvements on industrial equipment in an automated food processing facility while keeping a high regard for employee safety, food quality and machine efficiency./ppstrongHere's what you'll do:/strong/pulliEnsures self and coworkers are compliant with all safety rules and regulations (LOTO, fall protection, hot work, etc.)/liliPerform uptime and downtime inspections, lubrications, and preventative maintenance/liliUtilize predictive technologies such as thermal imaging, vibration analysis, and ultrasonics to gain an understanding of machine condition and estimated lifespan/liliTroubleshoot and perform corrective work on all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems within the facility/liliIdentify and execute improvements on equipment, documentation, work systems, and processes/liliCollaborates with different levels of employees in various departments of the facility through face-to-face, telephone, email and radio communications/liliProvide training and development to operators and other maintenance personnel/liliResearch system and component specifications using equipment manuals, schematics, parts breakdowns, online information, and vendor communication/liliDismantle and reassemble complex pieces of machinery in an efficient, precise and reliable manner/liliOperates cutting, welding, and various other fabrication equipment to cut, form, and/or join materials/liliCreates/modifies work orders in Computerized Maintenance Management System, and documents details of work performed/liliSubmits parts requests/liliEscalate technical, procedural, and personnel related issues to direct lead or supervisor as necessary/liliWork with moral integrity on a consistent basis/liliPerforms other assigned duties and projects/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulstrongQualifications:/strongpstrongHere's what you'll bring to the table:/strong/pulliHigh School diploma or GED equivalent required; Technical degree and three years or more of related experience and/or training in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).#xa0;#xa0;/liliIndividual must be able to read, analyze, interpret, and present out general business items to groups of coworkers, managers, clients, customers, and the general public./liliEffective English communication is a must, bilingual is preferred/liliEmployee must possess ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.#xa0;/liliAbility to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations is preferred/liliTo successfully support the business needs, the employee will be expected to work overtime, weekends and rotating/varying shifts, as well as be available for emergency call-out as needed./liliAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists/liliAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form./liliEmployee must be physically able to:ulliStand and/or walk for up to 12 hour shift/liliDrive vehicles/liliClimb on a ladder or scaffolding to heights in excess of 10’, balance, and work above the shoulders frequently./liliBend/stoop, kneel, crouch, and squat frequently for extended periods of time/liliUse both hands for frequent grasping and occasional fine manipulation and fingering/liliOccasionally carry and lift up to 50 pounds above the shoulders/liliOccasionally push or pull various items, such as equipment, filters, motors, tools, and compressors pumps up to 75 pounds./liliWork at heights/liliTolerate required personal protective equipment such as steel toed shoes, work gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, dust masks, and safety harnesses on a continuous basis./li/ul/li/ulpstrongPay Range:#xa0;/strong$29.00 - $34.60.#xa0;Final compensation will be dependent upon skills amp;
