New graduates are encouraged to apply!/b/pp/ppbWhat You#39;ll Do: /b/ppspanAs a Certified Athletic Trainer, you will provide /spanspanon-site medical coverage for events, team practice, and competitions. Within scope of practice, you will be responsible for the /spanspantriage of injuries incurred by patients/athletes providing clinical evaluation and diagnosis, immediate injury care, follow-up injury treatment, prevention education, and rehabilitative services. Our outreach program consists of 28 area schools, 19 high schools, 7 middle schools, Viterbo University and Western Technical College. Our 19 athletic trainers cover all levels of football, Junior Varsity and Varsity Volleyball, Boys amp; Girls Soccer, Cross Country, Basketball, Wrestling, Ice Hockey, Lacrosse, Baseball, Softball and Track./span/pp/ppbWhat#39;s Available:/b/pullipspanCasual On-Call (non-benefit eligible)/span/p/lilipspanCover school sports practices from approximately 3:00-6:00pm and sporting events as needed including weekend hours/span/p/lilipspanPossible clinic hours available /span/p/lilipspanStarting pay of $23.82/hr and up, based on your years of experience, as well as applicable evening and weekend shift differentials/span/p/li/ulp/ppbWhat You#39;ll Need:/b/pullipspanBachelor#39;s degree in Athletic Training or Sports Medicine or a related field/span/p/lilipspanBoard Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) by the National Athletic Trainers#39; Association (NATA-BOC)/span/p/lilipspanLicensed Athletic Trainer - Wisconsin (LAT)/span/p/lilipspanWilling to apply for Minnesota Board of Medical Practice (BOMP) Athletic Trainer licensure/span/p/lilipspanCurrent Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross/span/p/lilipspanNo experience required.
