We offer competitive compensation and benefit packages! /p h2 /h2 h2strongABOUT THE POSITION/strong/h2 pThe strongSeasonal Scale Operator /strongposition is responsible for the customer service functions within the assigned location(s). emstrongThis position is currently a seasonal/temporary role./strong /emA description of the duties includes:/p ul liOperate the scale to weigh in-bound and out-bound trucks;/li liComplete all applicable paperwork accurately and timely;/li liGreets employees, members, and visitors in courteous manner when they enter the office;/li liFiles, types and performs other office support activities;/li liAnswers telephone in a professional manner and assists customers with sales, questions or complaints;/li liKeeps work area neat and clean;/li liResponsible for maintaining clean facilities, and complying with all state and federal regulations pertaining to a safe workplace, housekeeping, and all activities that require regulation compliance;/li liAttends training and safety meetings;/li liProvides excellent customer service by managing difficult or emotional situations; responding promptly to customer needs, resolving questions, complaints and concerns immediately and meeting commitments;/li liEffectively communicates by verbal and written means with customers, employees and management;/li liMaintains and promotes safety awareness; follows safety policies, procedures and reporting requirements;/li liPresent a clean and professional appearance;/li liEmployee is required to perform all other duties as directed by the supervisor./li /ul p /p h2strongPOSITION REQUIREMENTS/strong/h2 ul liHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
