Neighborhoods within this service area include Cortez Hill, Columbia, Marina, City Center, East Village, and the Gaslamp Quarter. Every Maintenance Ambassador is responsible for one of these neighborhoods, where they provide maintenance services and serve as the neighborhood�s liaison. Duties include sweeping, trash removal, doggy bag dispenser refill, tree trimming, pressure washing, graffiti, gum, and sticker removal./p pstrongEssential Job Functions Duties 90%/strong/p ul liRemove graffiti and stickers on public property, such as stops signs, light poles, sidewalks, and utility boxes./li liEnhance street furniture and tree grates by cleaning, painting, and de-odorizing the surfaces./li liSweep and mop sidewalks and curbs, including removing human and animal waste/li liLift heavy trash bags (up to 50 lbs.) and empty public trash receptacles/li liPick up any illegally dumped trash reported by businesses or property owners/li liPerform landscape maintenance, which involves raking leaves and removing weeds/li liRespond to maintenance calls from businesses and property owners/li liProvide excellent customer service assistance with residents, business owners, tourists, and patrons/li liParticipate daily line-ups and safety readings/stretches for of maintenance personnel/li liConduct daily inspections of equipment before and after use/li liPerform quality assurance duties as directed/li liCompile daily statistics using Eponic work logs, recording completed work orders/li liComplete quarterly training under the direction of Shift Supervisor/li liPerform other tasks as assigned by Executive Director, Director of Maintenance Services, Operations Manager, and Shift Supervisor./li /ul pstrongAdministrative Tasks 10%/strong/p ul liAdhere to all local, state, federal guidelines and laws.
