pThe Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of facility systems and manufacturing equipment. This role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems within the scope of the LME license, in compliance with Oregon state regulations./ppstronguAdditional Information:/u/strong/pp1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:15pmnbsp;/ppThis position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.nbsp;/ppJob duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company’s staff, employees, and vendors./pp style="color:black;font-family:Calibri;font-size:11.0pt;margin:0in;"nbsp;/ppnbsp;/ph3Responsibilities/h3divulliFollow all safety and security rules and avoid equipment hazards per operating instructions./liliConduct ongoing safety inspections of all equipment in assigned areas./liliReport safety hazards or concerns to the immediate supervisor./liliMaintain clean and organized work areas at all times./liliUnderstand industrial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code./liliTroubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and modify programmable logic controllers independently./liliRead and interpret ladder logic diagrams and use multi-meter functions correctly./liliRead and understand mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints./liliTroubleshoot, repair, and install 480V, 240V, 120V AC/DC circuits, motor controls, and power wiring./liliPerform major installations and general maintenance and repairs./liliLearn and understand all plant machines and equipment to support timely repairs./liliPerform preventive maintenance and repair on machines and equipment./liliInstall conduit for electrical wire relocations on machinery./liliApply proper grounding and bonding techniques and perform testing./liliDemonstrate the ability to learn new equipment safely and efficiently./liliCollaborate with vendors to identify parts and troubleshoot machinery issues./liliWork effectively with production, maintenance, and staff, and independently when needed./liliAssist maintenance team members with timely and accurate repairs and adjustments./liliParticipate in incident and ARC investigations as required./liliUse eAM or equivalent CMMS, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word for maintenance documentation./li/ul/divh3Qualifications/h3divpstrongMinimum Requirements:/strong/pulliMust be at least 18 years of agenbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; nbsp;/liliMust be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment visa status/liliMust have Current Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) or Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant Electrician (PJ) or other applicable electrical license in the state of Oregon/liliMust have three (3) years’ experience repairing automation equipment./liliMust have five (5) years’ experience as a manufacturing LME./li/ulpstrongPreferred Qualifications:/strong/pulliAt least have electrician vocational school training or equivalent./liliAt least have ability to interpret PLC ladder logic in RSLogix 500 and Studio 5000 to troubleshoot plant equipment including sensors, VFDs, motors, pressure gauges, pumps, and pneumatic valves/li/ul/divh2Company/h2divpAt Sherwin-Williams, our purpose is to inspire and improve the world by coloring and protecting what matters.
