Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year./p h2Responsibilities/h2 pstrongUniveristy Radiology/strong is looking for a full-time strongA/R Representative/strong for our strongEast Brunswick, NJ Business Office/strong/p p /p pstrongMonday - Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM/strong/p p /p ul liPerforms various collection actions including contacting patients and insurance by phone or website/li liProfessionally communicates and resolves claims with the insurance carrier representatives and ascertain relationships that will assist processing claims efficiently/li liWill understand and resolve rejections, denials, insufficient payments and unpaid claims/li liCorrect, resubmit and appeal claims to third party payers/li liAccurately entering and/or updating patient demographics, insurance information and any other information that may pertain resolution of the account/li liMonitor, analyze and communicate account receivable challenges and opportunities  to the management team as well as contribute with own ideas and solutions/li liReport payer issues/trends/li liReport number of accounts and dollars associated with issue/li liHandles correspondence daily/li liAccomplish projects as a team member or individual as assigned/li liComply with established policies and procedure, objectives, HIPAA and safety standards/li /ul h2Qualifications/h2 ul liKnowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Work, Excel, Outlook)/li liKnowledge of insurance payers, reimbursement, denial prevention, appeals in a fast paced high volume office environment./li liKnowledge of Insurance Websites; all insurance contracts reimbursement (Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, Medicaid, No Fault, Workers Comp)/li liMust be able to work in a high volume, fast pace work environment/li liAbility to work independently with limited supervision/li liSelf motivated – showing interest to self improve/li liMust be able to work as part of a team therefore maintains a professional and positive work environment, including healthy work relationships with coworkers supporting     each other,  strong moral beliefs and shares positive energy/li liAbility to learn quickly and accurately and toggle to and from different  host and billing systems/li liUnderstands not only the collection work flow but also the revenue cycle as a whole and the impact the individual has in the organization/li liEffective at meetings  - providing feedback, ideas and suggestions to improve the office day to day and moral/li liOrganizational skills/li li2+ years’ experience as a collector/li /ul h2Benefits/h2 pUniversity Radiology offers a comprehensive benefits program including medical, dental and life insurance, 401k/pension, and profit-sharing plans, generous paid time off policy and more./p h2Pay Range:/h2 pFrom $23/hr/p p /p pstrongJoin our growing team!/strong/p p /p pUniversity Radiology  is an Equal Opportunity Employer, all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status./p
