Overview:
p style="margin: 0px;"We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Fire Alarm Technician and System Programmers to join our team at HCI Systems, Inc (HCI). This key role requires a deep understanding of fire alarm systems, low voltage panels, and associated devices, along with exceptional programming and troubleshooting skills. As a Senior Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing, programming, and commissioning fire alarm and low voltage systems in medium to large commercial buildings. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and provide guidance to other team members, ensuring high-quality customer support and efficient task execution./p
Responsibilities:
ul style="margin-top: 0in;"liPerform installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of low voltage panels, wiring, and associated devices, with a strong focus on fire alarm systems./liliUtilize your expertise to proctor, coach, and teach other team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment./liliDeliver reliable and top-notch customer support, offering clear instructions on system operation and functionality./liliConduct thorough system testing and signal verification to ensure optimal performance and compliance./liliMaintain a well-organized inventory of equipment, tools, and necessary resources in the company vehicle./liliMake effective use of technical resources, information, and support to efficiently complete assigned tasks./liliEnsure tasks are progressed and completed within defined timelines, meeting or exceeding project expectations./liliCreate detailed documentation of services performed, hours worked, and task-related activities./liliDemonstrate a strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving skills./liliLead by example with excellent communication, both written and verbal, when collaborating with team members and customers./liliAct as a point of reference for complex field situations, identifying and implementing effective resolutions./liliManage multiple projects simultaneously, providing guidance to ensure successful outcomes./liliCollaborate with team members, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution./liliComplete additional projects and assignments as directed by management./li/ul
Qualifications:
