(Works with both preschoolers and School-agers, generally 5.5 hours of preschool and 2.5 hours of SAC during the school year, and entirely with SAC during the summer.)nbsp;/p /li /ul ul li pHomework assistance in one-on-one and small group settings; check work and ensure completion, if possible, for school age childrennbsp;/p /li /ul ul li pPlan and implement engaging age-appropriate lesson plans for classroom activities and clubs for school age childrennbsp;/p /li /ul ul li pMaintain a clean, safe, and emotionally supportive environment that is conducive to learning and is centered on the needs and abilities of the childrennbsp;/p /li /ul ul li pResponsible for the care and supervision of children and classroom management at all times in accordance with licensing standards and best practicesnbsp;nbsp;nbsp;/p /li /ul ul li pProvides referrals to families as needs are identified in children; works as part of a team to plan for identified servicesnbsp;nbsp;/p /li /ul ul li pComplete and document services provided, such as progress reports, attendance screenings, and assessments as requirednbsp;/p /li /ul ul li pProvide functional classroom support and assist with meal service as requirednbsp;nbsp;nbsp;/p /li /ul ul li pBuild positive relationships with children, families and other staff members through prompt and accurate response and service, cheerful and professional attitude, and problem-solving spiritnbsp;/p /li /ul ul li pMaintain professionalism and confidentiality with personnel and family informationnbsp;/p /li /ul ul li pAll other duties as needed/assignednbsp;/p /li /ul h4Qualifications/h4brpustrongQualifications:/strong/u/p ul li pA current CDA is required, an associate degree or higher in ECE or related field is preferred   /p/li /ul ul li pCareer Pathway Level in OCCRRA is at minimum Level 3 /p/li /ul ul li pExperience in a preschool classroom setting is required /p/li /ul ul li pExperience with Creative Curriculum preferred; strong familiarity with lesson planning incorporating all domains of the Ohio Early Learning Content Standards /p/li /ul ul li pWillingness to update job knowledge with required training, DCY licensing rules and SUTQ professional development opportunities, and industry trends /p/li /ul ul li pMust be able to adapt quickly to changing environments and assignments as required /p/li /ul ul li pWe seek someone who is prompt and reliable and who possesses a genuine love of children /p/li li pMust be able to lift and carry a minimum of 40 lbs. as required /p/li li pMust be able to pass background checks and physical/ medical screening as required /p/li /ul p /p pstronguEmployee Benefits:/u/strong/p ul li pMedical coverage for employees who work 30+ hours a week.
