Primary focus on new construction and installation of manufacturing equipment. This position requires extensive knowledge of electrical components as well as electrical safety codes and regulations./p pnbsp;/p pstrongJOB DUTIES amp; ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:/strongbr / This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time./p ul liAbility to understand and comply with Safety procedures and practices and NFPA 70e and NEC codes./li liDesigning and executing plans for electrical wiring, services to new and existing equipment and support of projects in the facility./li liResponsible for complex troubleshooting of industrial electrical and electronic systems including CNCs, Robotics, vision systems, labelers, palletizers, leak detector systems, temperature controllers, servo motors, HMIrsquo;s, and PLCs in a fast-paced manufacturing facility to determine mechanical or electrical failure./li liQualified and competent in working on electrical systems up to 480v./li liInterpret prints of machine assemblies and wiring diagrams (European drawings)./li liUtilize Microsoft Office and computerized Maintenance Management System./li liInstalls, examines, replaces, or repairs electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and/or other electrical components./li liTests electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance./li liMaintains, repairs, installs, and tests switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors./li liMaintains, repairs, tests, and installs electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems./li liTroubleshoots, maintains and repairs industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices./li liMay install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices as required./li liAssist with mechanical and electrical improvement to plant and equipment./li liImplement and conduct preventive maintenance programs and keeps accurate maintenance records./li liAssist and train production employees in proper operation and maintenance of machinery based upon electrical knowledge and abilities./li liRespond to emergency breakdowns onsite as needed./li liCompliance to GMP, Food Safety, and Food Quality regulations as required by the company, customers, and/or government agencies./li /ul h4Qualifications/h4brpstrongQUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS amp; ABILITIES):/strong/p ul liHigh school diploma or GED./li liLicensed Industrial Journeyman Electrician or currently enrolled in a program/li liFormal NFPA 70E training/li liMinimum of 1-2 years of related experiencenbsp;/li liKnowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment./li liAwareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations./li liStrong verbal and written communication skills./li liHighly motivated self-starter with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and problem solve malfunctions./li liAbility to work as a team member or alone to complete projects./li liAvailability and willingness to work shift, on call, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed./li liAbility to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents./li liWilling to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc./li liBlow molding machine knowledge is a plus./li liLimited travel may be required./li /ul pnbsp;/p pstrongPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: /strong/p ul liMust be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift/carry up to 30 to 50 pounds./li liMust be able to use fingers, hands, and arms for regular tasks./li liMust be able to climb steps, have a good hand-eye coordination, and bend/squat./li liMust be able to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment./li liMust be able to operate effectively in temperatures ranging from 60 to 110 F./li liMust be capable of visually detecting defects, depth, colors, variances, and see objects./li /ul pstrongRadius Packaging is an equal opportunity employer./strong/p
