Chiropractic Assistant

Hoffmann Chiropractic is seeking a dedicated and organized Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, have strong communication skills, and possess the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in supporting our chiropractor and ensuring the smooth daily operation of the clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients, providing a welcoming and positive experience.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage the office calendar.
• Confirm patient appointments and recall missed appointments.
• Assist with insurance verification and collection of copays/deductibles.
• Maintain patient records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
• Assist chiropractors with patient intake, including taking medical histories and preparing patients for treatments.
• Help manage the flow of patients in the office, ensuring timely appointments and minimal wait times.
• Educate patients on chiropractic care, treatment plans, and health benefits.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to inquiries, and processing payments.
• Assist with therapy modalities, monitor/instruct individual exercises, or operating equipment, as directed by the doctor.
• Assist in monitoring supply inventory and condition of equipment and report to office manager.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient information and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or chiropractic office is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with office software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of organization.
• A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for helping others.
• CPR certification is a plus, but not required.

Expected Hours:

• Monday: 9:00am - 1:15pm and 2:45pm - 6:15pm
• Tuesday: 9:00am - 12:30pm and 1:45pm - 6:15pm
• Wednesday: 9:00am - 1:15pm and 2:45pm - 6:15pm
• Thursday: 9:00am - 1:15pm and 2:45pm - 6:15pm
• Friday: 9:00am - 2:00pm
