Full time FedEx DRIVERS NEEDED in Carol Stream Terminal

Seeking a driver to start ASAP. C Class & delivery experience with a major carrier is preferred.

A Carol Stream based residential package delivery business which operates under contract with FedEx Ground seeks qualified candidate for full time or part time package delivery drivers. These are the best routes at this facility due to their close proximity to the station and a balanced combination of 90% residential and 10%business deliveries and light packages. operating 7 days a week (rotating 5 day schedule). FLEXIBLE schedule due to 7 day operations! During the holiday season , every schedule works an additional day (6).

MUST be at least 21 years old with a valid Illinois State driver's license C class or higher.

12 months of verifiable commercial vehicle driving experience within the last 3 years. Experience does not have to be continuous or with the same company, but all 12 months of driving experience will need to be VERIFIABLE with a timeline of employment and type of vehicle driven (this is completed by a third party verification company).

MOTOR VEHICLE RECORD will be verified before employment

DOT drug test will have to be passed before employment.

Ability to pass a DOT Physical exam

Ability to get in and out of a truck throughout the day

Ability to drive safely in poor weather driving

No Record of reckless, aggressive or careless operation of any vehicle such as:

Two or more instances of exceeding the posted speed limit by 15mph

Must not have two or more moving violations in any vehicle in the previous 12 month period

Must not have caused two or more accidents in any vehicle

No record of any revocation, cancellation, or suspension of the driver's license or permit to operate a vehicle.

ALL BACKGROUND AND PRIOR EMPLOYMENT CHECKS WILL BE CONDUCTED THROUGH THE FEDEX QUALIFICATION PROCESS, AND WILL HAVE TO BE FULFILLED PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT WITH MP Drivers (Independent Service Provider for FedEx Ground).

Actual hours will vary depending on package volume.

MEDICAL benefits offered ( Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois) after 90 day probationary period. Direct Deposit, PTO ( up to 5 days).
