We are looking for a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team in Santa Cruz, California. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to support a fast-paced healthcare environment while ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will be bilingual, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming and detail-oriented atmosphere.
• Manage scheduling and appointments, coordinating with patients and medical staff.
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence promptly and accurately.
• Maintain and update patient records using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other relevant software.
• Assist in administrative tasks such as billing, filing, and data entry.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and office protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff, addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Collaborate with team members to support smooth office operations.
• Monitor office supplies and submit orders when necessary.
• Uphold a high level of confidentiality regarding patient information.• Must be bilingual, with the ability to communicate fluently in English and another language.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a receptionist, healthcare, or hospitality role preferred.
• Proficiency in Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Business casual or scrubs attire required.
• Familiarity with healthcare office procedures and regulations is a plus.
