Summary

Applied Composites is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead and execute strategic marketing initiatives that enhance our brand visibility and support business growth across the space, aerospace and defense sectors. This position is responsible for managing digital channels (with a heavy focus on social media), external communications, event marketing (including trade shows), and brand consistency across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a cohesive marketing strategy aligned with company objectives, brand standards, and target markets.
  • Manage and grow the company’s LinkedIn presence, including posting regular content, increasing engagement, and monitoring analytics.
  • Draft, coordinate, and distribute press releases, company news, and media announcements.
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of trade shows, industry conferences, and customer events, including booth design, logistics, and promotional materials.
  • Lead ongoing website improvements and content updates in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Create marketing collateral, such as brochures, data sheets, presentations, and case studies to support business development and sales.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with business development, engineering, and operations to capture technical content and success stories.
  • Track marketing campaign performance metrics and ROI; make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure consistent use of branding and messaging across all communication platforms and business units.
  • Manage vendor relationships related to marketing services (graphic design, digital media, printers, etc.).
  • Support internal communication initiatives to reinforce employee engagement and brand alignment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA or technical background a plus.
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience. Aerospace, defense, or industrial manufacturing marketing preferred, but not required.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn, email marketing tools, and Adobe Creative Suite or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling promotional content.
  • Must have the ability to stage and capture professional marketing photos.
  • Experience planning and executing trade shows and industry events, preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
