Job Description: Fuel Shop Clerk for Parts & Service

Job Title: Fuel Shop Clerk

Department: Maintenance/Mechanical

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor/Manager

Job Summary: Fuel Shop Clerk will be responsible for Parts & Service invoicing, Inventory control 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Open and Close parts and service invoices
    • open RO's for service techs.
    • invoice parts sales.
  • Maintain Parts Inventory:
    • Perform routine inventory cycle counts.
    • process PO's for inventory orders.
    • process inventory transfers to other departments and branch's.
    • process and return parts cores to suppliers.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
    • Report any recurrent issues or concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.
    • Ensure all work complies with company policies and industry standards.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Stay updated on industry regulations and advancements in fuel injection technology.
    • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations regarding the handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1 years of experience in customer service.
    • Experience with various types engine or industrial parts.
  • Skills:
    • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
    • Proficiency in using computer programs and ability to learn new programs in a timely manner.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical parts and service manuals.
    • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and parts.
    • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in a workshop or industrial setting.
  • Exposure to noise, fumes, and hazardous materials.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
